Have you heard that Sherry’s Hope received a $7,500 grant from the Robert K and Anne H Zelle Fund for Health by The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee (CFMT)? These funds will be used to support our Patient Assistance program, and will directly help us to continue assisting families in Wilson County and surrounding areas who are in financial need and in treatment for a current cancer diagnosis

CFMT awarded more than $2.8 million in grants to 435 nonprofit organizations as part of the 2023 annual grantmaking process.

 “God has blessed us to be able to serve so many families right here in our community and to have the support to make it possible. Because of CFMT and so many individuals and donors who generously give, we can give hope to our neighbors who are battling cancer,” said Sherry’s Hope Executive Board Member, Jane Hay.

CFMT awards discretionary grants annually from its unrestricted and field-of-interest funds through an open application process to Middle Tennessee nonprofit organizations addressing community needs and benefiting the well-being of our community through valuable programs and innovative services.

Sherry’s Hope is a Christian, non-profit organization that works throughout the year to provide hope to families battling cancer in Wilson County and surrounding communities by offering emotional encouragement and financial assistance. In addition, Sherry’s Hope works to spread colon health awareness by distributing free colon cancer screening tests and providing colonoscopy assistance.
