November is here and Christmas time is right around the corner! There’s just something about this time of year that brings a special joy…a hope in the community. Sherry’s Hope is a faith-based, local nonprofit in Lebanon, TN that provides financial assistance to families who are actively receiving treatment or hospice care due to a current cancer diagnosis in Wilson County and surrounding communities. Many people are most familiar with Sherry’s Hope’s largest fundraiser of the year: Sherry’s Run. The event takes place the second Saturday of September every year! This past September, the organization celebrated the 21^st annual Sherry’s Run 5K Run/Walk which featured, for the first time ever, medals for each participant who crossed the finish line! After the event, some medals were leftover- giving Sherry’s Hope a merry opportunity to transform the medals into Christmas Ornaments!

            With a limited supply, these ornaments will be featured at Puckett’s Supply Co.’s Christmas Craft Fair on November 30^th from 10AM-3PM (1501 Highway 109 N, Lebanon). Ornaments will also be available at the Sherry’s Hope office (155 Legends Dr. Suite O, Lebanon), Buckeye Drugs (315 N Cumberland St, Lebanon), and Gibbs Pharmacy (1427 W Baddour Pkwy, Suite B, Lebanon) during normal business hours from December 3^rd through the end of the year while supplies last. December 3^rd is also Giving Tuesday, a special day of the year which encourages people to do good and give! Because of this, the Sherry’s Hope office will be open for extended hours that day (10 AM-6PM) so you can stop by on your lunch break or on your way home from work! By making a donation of any amount to Sherry’s Hope, you can take home your very own ornament and add a little HOPE to your Christmas tree, or take a few to gift! They are the perfect stocking stuffers! All proceeds go back to assist local families fighting cancer. Your support truly adds hope to the holiday season.
