A Merry Little Way to Share Hope: Sherry’s Hope Christmas Ornaments
We can hear those joy bells ringing, Christmas time is almost here! And with it comes a special season of hope in our community.
Sherry’s Hope, a faith-based nonprofit in Lebanon, TN, provides financial assistance to families in Wilson County and surrounding areas who are actively receiving treatment or hospice care due to a current cancer diagnosis. Many know Sherry’s Hope for its largest fundraiser of the year, the Sherry’s Run 5K held every September.
Last Christmas, Sherry’s Hope introduced something new: Christmas ornaments crafted from repurposed Sherry’s Run medals. Many in the community donated and proudly displayed their ornament of hope, and this year these meaningful ornaments are back with a new design!
With a very limited supply, ornaments will make their debut at Puckett’s Supply Co.’s Christmas Craft Fair on Saturday, November 29th, from 10 AM to 3 PM (1351 Hunters Point Pike, Lebanon).
Ornaments will also be available at the Sherry’s Hope office (155 Legends Dr. Suite O, Lebanon) and Creative Graphics (100 Oak St, Lebanon) during normal operating hours beginning Tuesday, December 2nd, and continuing through December 18th while supplies last. December 2nd is also Giving Tuesday, a day dedicated to doing good and giving back. The Sherry’s Hope office will be open extended hours from 10 AM to 6 PM that day, so you can stop by on your lunch break or after work to pick up your ornament.
By making a donation of any amount to Sherry’s Hope, you can take home your very own ornament to add a little hope to your Christmas tree, or gift one to someone special. They’re the perfect stocking stuffers! If you purchased one last year, you can even start a collection and add this year’s design!
All proceeds directly support our neighbors affected by cancer. Your kindness truly helps add hope to the holidays. Sherry’s Hope wishes you a joy-filled, hope-filled Christmas season!
