Macon County Cruise for a Cure Gives Hope
The 6th annual Cruise for a Cure, presented by Macon Bank & Trust, took place in Macon County on Saturday, September 19th! Over thirty different classic cars, trucks, and other vehicles joined the lineup to support Sherry’s Hope.
A scenic ride through the beautiful backroads of Macon County led everyone to the Macon Drive-In! After the event, Macon Bank & Trust Co. presented Sherry’s Hope with a check for $3,796! This wonderful donation will help Sherry’s Hope in the continued mission to help local families affected by cancer. Sherry’s Hope is so thankful for Macon Bank & Trust and all who made the event possible.
Sherry’s Hope is a Christian, non-profit organization that works throughout the year to provide hope to families battling cancer in Wilson County and surrounding communities by offering emotional encouragement and financial assistance. In addition, Sherry’s Hope works to spread colon health awareness by distributing free colon cancer screening tests.
